Help for every step of the mining path.

Start with the task you are trying to complete. Each answer points to the page that owns the full explanation.

Connect a miner

Which endpoint should I use?

Use stratum+tcp://btc.solomining.xyz:1313 for standard Stratum TCP or stratum+ssl://btcssl.solomining.xyz:1414 when your miner supports TLS.

What is my username?

Use your Bitcoin mainnet wallet address. To name a worker, append a period and a short label, for example walletAddress.worker01. Leave the password blank or use x when the miner requires a value.

Why is my ASIC connected but not showing shares?

A network connection is only the first step. Recheck the address, worker format, transport, miner clock, and share errors.

Read the dashboard

Why are 5-minute and 1-hour hashrates different?

They are estimates over different windows. Short windows react faster and vary more.

Does zero mean the same as unavailable?

No. Zero is a valid reported value. Unavailable means the system does not have a reliable value to show.

How long is history stored?

The current product surface displays rolling telemetry windows of up to 24 hours. See the Privacy Policy for the related data-handling information.

Understand probability

Do shares build up toward a block?

No. Shares measure submitted work at a lower target; they are not partial blocks.

Can the calculator predict when I will find a block?

No. It estimates probability under explicit assumptions.
